Ekiden de Montgeron

ES Montgeron Athletics invites you to its Ekiden! Form a team of six runners and come challenge the legendary marathon distance in a relay. With your friends or family, share the effort over 42.195 km.

 

What you will find on site:

• A legendary relay race of 42.195 km, in teams of 6. The relays follow one another as follows: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and 7.195 km for the last relay runner;

• A 10 km duo format (each runner runs 5 km);

• A refreshment point on the course for the relay runners covering the 10 km distance + a refreshment point at the finish for each participant.

• A FFA-certified course, with the possibility of qualifying for the French championships;

• A test for children, combining running and throwing;

• A friendly atmosphere and a Business Challenge to strengthen team cohesion.

 

 

 

 

Course focus:

The route crisscrosses the Pelouse de Montgeron and the paths of the Sénart forest. With a rolling course certified by the FFA, it is the perfect terrain to break records or discover the Ekiden in a high-energy atmosphere.
