A charitable urban race, a secret route until D-2, and an atmosphere that rocks: welcome to the Albi Run Urbain!
What you'll find on site:
• Two races (or walks) of 8 km and 12 km, solo or in teams of 6, because suffering together is always more fun;
• A crazy atmosphere, like a major sporting and charitable event.
• Every comfort for runners: toilets, changing rooms, refreshments… you don’t even have an excuse to smell like a fennec fox afterwards.
• A solid commitment to solidarity: each edition helps a disabled person to finance equipment or an autonomy project.
Course focus:
Albi, its red bricks, its singing accent… and its course that will make you sweat with joy and good humor!
A small singularity of the Albi urban run: its route. Mystery and bubble gum until D-2, but one thing is sure: it climbs, it descends and your GPS watch will probably blow a fuse (thanks to the old stones!). The cherry on the red brick, you will run in places normally closed to the public, like the AJDR Factory, the haunt of Albi street dancers. 3000 runners expected for a race where everyone is on the same starting line, able-bodied and disabled alike.
Three (super) reasons to participate:
• Here, everyone runs together, no distinction, just sport and sharing;
• 100% charity children's races: all funds go to the Ronald McDonald Foundation to support hospitalized children and their families;
• A start at the end of the day and a team race: the best excuse for a well-deserved after-race.
