Route focus:
A must-attend event for Toulouse running enthusiasts, the Corrida Crédit Agricole Toulouse has been organised every first Friday of July for over 20 years. And every one of its routes is the stuff of dreams. The starting gun fires on the place du Capitole, which trades its hordes of tourists for an army of runners. Then it's on to the place Saint-Pierre, the banks of the Garonne, the prairie des Filtres, the port de la Daurade, the Pont-Neuf and the basilique Saint-Sernin, all to a musical backdrop!
To top it all off, the Corrida donates the entirety of its profits each year to associations linked to early childhood. Brilliant.
