Foulée de la marquise

The Foulée de la Marquise is much more than a running event; it's also the name of the association that oversees it. This name celebrates the magnificent château of the Marquise de Sévigné, perched in Grignan, one of the most beautiful villages on the edge of Provence.

What you'll find there:

• An 11.5 km course that will leave you with some sore muscles but great memories!
• Liquid refreshment stations at km 2, 5, and 9, as well as at the finish.
• Running enthusiasts ready to share this adventure with you!

Focus on the course: Starting from the village hall, the course offers a hilly and varied loop: two-thirds dirt roads, one-third paved road. Expect two serious climbs: a first 300-meter hill at the 5th kilometer and a second 600-meter hill at the 8th kilometer. That's where it gets tough! You climb, you descend, you discover new landscapes at every turn. Each stride brings you closer to a memorable experience.
