With its charming name, the Foxtrail brings Bouzonville and its many trail runners together every year for a moment of sharing, fun, and COMPETITION. Because let's be honest, being the village star is pretty cool.
PS: Not to be confused with the Foxtrot. That would be a shame, they're not the same shoes.
What you'll find on site:
• Trails, paths, forests, greenery, fresh air — in short, pure re-laxation;
• 3 trails ranging from 10 km to 27 km and two races for the little ones;
• Foxes, with a bit of luck tiptoeing on velvet paws;
• Aid stations to keep you going the distance (1 on the 11 km and 17 km course and 2 on the 27 km + at the finish line for everyone).
Course focus:
The Foxtrail lives up to its name. Like an adorably cunning fox, this race takes you running through the trails and forest paths of the surrounding countryside, passing through several villages in the region (Bouzonville, the starting point, Alzing, Vaudreching and Holling, to name but a few). Yet they're all well worth the detour!
3 (very) good reasons to take part:
• We can't stress it enough, but the name of this trail is such a big part of its charm...
• A chance to snag one of the prizes (aim for the podium, we believe in you!);
• Have a great time with friends, family, neighbours — everyone together. Because that's what the spirit of running is all about.
Results:
• 2025 (520 finishers)
