Grand trail du Lac

Tie your laces, take a deep breath and get ready to feast your eyes (and thighs) on the Grand Trail du Lac in Savoie!

What you'll find there:

• Technical trails, aerial ridges, steep climbs and descents where your quads will cry for their mother.

• A course between lake and mountain with picture-postcard views of Lac du Bourget, Mont-Blanc and the surrounding massifs.

• Two challenges to choose from: the full 74 km loop and 3,580 mD+ (solo or relay) or the half-loop of 34 km and 2,020 mD+.

Course focus:

Do you want a tough trail? You're in for a treat. The Grand Trail du Lac is a wild ride where every kilometer has something to tell. Starting with a headlamp for the bravest, very steep climbs, aerial passages with a cable to hold on to (yes, really!), very technical descents and even a few moments to catch your breath… but not too much. The finale? A final monstrous climb followed by a descent where you risk inventing new braking styles.

• It's not just a race, it's an adventure, a challenge between you and the mountain.

• Running in such a setting is a real slap in the face to any home-trainer session.
