Course focus:
The half marathon route takes you along the grand boulevards of the capital. Admire the Opéra National, the Bastille, the Institut du Monde Arabe or the splendid Jardin des Plantes. In 21 kilometres, you even have time to take a trip into the forest: one loop of the course takes you to discover the Bois de Vincennes, for a change of scenery and to (almost) make you forget the distance 😌. Thanks to the fast course, the boldest runners can go full speed, while those who prefer a more relaxed pace can simply enjoy the ride to the fullest. In fact, many runners come back year after year to relive the experience again and again. Unless it's to raid the refreshment stations. Either way, they come back, they push themselves, and they love it.
Don't forget to take a stroll around the Village when picking up your race bib and soak up the atmosphere before the big day. It's a great opportunity to get autographs from stars of the scene and visit the stands of your favourite running brands. And maybe spend a little more than planned. But hey, when it's for running…
That said, there's no question of overlooking the fundamentals: respect for every runner and for the environment. By registering, you commit to respecting the Charte du Runner Responsable, guided by the Charte des GESI*, which guarantees the organisers' CSR approach. Inclusivity, sustainability, health awareness and eco-responsibility are all values championed by all stakeholders in this race.
