Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer to the Springlands Hotel in Moshi.
Thursday, October 16
Bus transfer to Umbwe Gate (1,800 m) – Ascent to Umbwe Camp (2,850 m).
Elevation: +1,050 m / Distance: 11 km / Duration: 5-7 hrs.
Friday 17 October
Umbwe Camp (2,850 m) – Barranco Camp (3,980 m).
Elevation: +1,130 m / Distance: 6.5 km / Duration: 4-5 hrs.
Saturday 18 October
Barranco Camp (3,980 m) – Karanga Camp (4,035 m).
Elevation: +450 m / -375 m / Distance: 5 km / Duration: 4 h.
Sunday 19 October
Karanga Camp (4,035 m) – Barafu Camp (4,640 m).
Elevation: +605 m / Distance: 5 km / Duration: 5 hrs.
Monday 20 October
Barafu Camp (4,640 m) – Ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).
Elevation: +1,255 m / Distance: 5 km / Duration: 8 hrs.
Descent to Mweka Camp (3,090 m).
Elevation: -2,800 m / Distance: 12 km / Duration: 5 hrs.
Tuesday 21 October
Mweka Camp (3,090 m) – Descent to Mweka Gate (1,650 m).
Elevation: -1,440 m / Distance: 10 km / Duration: 4-5 hrs.
Transfer to Springlands Hotel in Moshi.
Wednesday 22 October
Breakfast and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for return flight. Option to extend your stay in Moshi or Tanzania.
