General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Miles Republic Gift Cards

1. Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as the “Gift Card Terms and Conditions”) govern the sale of gift cards (hereinafter referred to as the “Gift Cards”) by Olympyk, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €47,059, registered with the Lille Trade and Companies Register under number 888 926 763 and having its registered office at 71, quai de l'Ouest, 59000 Lille, France, operating the website www.milesrepublic.com (hereinafter “Miles Republic”). Unlike registration services for sporting events, for which Miles Republic acts as an agent for the organizers, Gift Cards are sold directly by Miles Republic in its own name and on its own behalf.

2. Gift Card Description

Miles Republic Gift Cards are digital vouchers that allow the recipient to pay for all or part of the registration fee for a sporting event offered on the website www.milesrepublic.com. Gift Cards are available in the following amounts: €10, €20, €40, €50, €80, and €100. Each Gift Card is associated with a unique code sent by email.

3. Validity

Gift Cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. After this period, the Gift Card and any unused balance are permanently lost and cannot be refunded or extended. [h3]4. Terms of Use Gift Cards can be used to pay for registrations to all events for which payment is made via Miles Republic. The Gift Card amount is deducted from the total amount of the shopping cart, including service fees. The Gift Card can be used multiple times until its balance is depleted or its validity expires. Gift Cards can be combined with promotional codes. Only one Gift Card can be used per order. 5. Ordering and Payment The Customer places an order on the website www.milesrepublic.com by selecting the desired amount, entering the recipient's information, and, if applicable, scheduling a delivery date. Payment is made in full at the time of ordering by credit card via the secure payment provider Stripe. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer after the order is validated. 6. Delivery The Gift Card is delivered by email to the address provided by the Customer during the ordering process. The card is sent immediately after payment confirmation, unless the Customer has scheduled a later delivery date. The Customer receives a copy of the Gift Card and can forward it directly to the recipient if they do not receive it. 7. Right of Withdrawal In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of digital content without a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's consent. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that performance of the contract begins upon payment confirmation, even if delivery is scheduled for a later date. Consequently, the Customer expressly waives their right of withdrawal. 8. No refunds Gift Cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be converted into cash. In the event of loss, theft, or disclosure of the code to a third party, Miles Republic cannot be held liable for the fraudulent use of the Gift Card. 9. Liability Miles Republic undertakes to deliver Gift Cards in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Miles Republic cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from an error by the Customer in entering the recipient's email address. Miles Republic's liability is limited to the amount of the Gift Card in question. 10. Personal Data Protection Personal data collected when purchasing a Gift Card is processed in accordance with the Miles Republic privacy policy, accessible at https://www.milesrepublic.com/privacy-policy.

12. Mediation

In accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Miles Republic adheres to the FEVAD mediation service, accessible at https://www.mediateurfevad.fr.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
