Albi
81 - Tarn

The Albi marathon ticks all the boxes: a rolling course, UNESCO World Heritage monuments and an atmosphere made in Occitanie! Singing accent and blue sky optional, but highly recommended.

What you will find there:

  • Three races to choose from: 10 km, semi or marathon. It's up to you how long you want to enjoy the Albi cobblestones;
  • Pacemakers to pull you to the finish without ending up shipwrecked in the Tarn and refreshments served with an Occitan smile;
  • The scenery is not bad: between the Sainte-Cécile cathedral, the Grand Théâtre and the majestic bridges, you are entitled to a real city trip.

Course focus:

Here, we serve you a mix of effort and culture on a tarmac platter. The 10 km is pure urban: two rolling loops, perfect for aligning records. On the half, we take you to Saint-Juéry, with round trips that play hide-and-seek with the Tarn. But the highlight of the show is the marathon: a royal course where you flirt with the banks of the river, go through tunnels, and enjoy a ridiculous D+ of 38 m (frankly, we know steeper sidewalks). In short, it's beautiful, rolling, and a little magical: from the south as we like it!

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

  • An Occitan atmosphere that smells of sunshine and the joy of living thanks to ultra-welcoming volunteers. You feel like you're running with your family;
  • UNESCO heritage: you run next to the Sainte-Cécile cathedral. If that's not class!
  • A marathon on a human scale: no more starts where you get walked on. Here, it's friendly, no sardine competitions.
