Marathon du vignoble d'Alsace

With a name like that, we don't have too many illusions about your motivations! And you will see, the Alsace Vineyard Marathon does not make empty promises.

What you will find on site:

• Marathon, half-marathon, 10 km, 5 km, children's race and walk;

• A race that puts the local terroir in the spotlight;

• Instructions, refreshments, physiotherapists, changing rooms and showers.

Course focus:

The Alsace Vineyard Marathon describes itself as “the most festive marathon of the month of June”. You have been warned. Its unusual routes will allow you to discover the famous vineyard through many villages and their culinary specialties. Were you expecting dried apricots at the refreshment points? You'll be disappointed... The marathon's 12 gastro-wine relays will give you as much of a challenge as its 42 km. Kougelhopf, tarte flambée, sauerkraut, pretzels, herring or grilled sausages... It's perhaps the only marathon where you'll have gained weight by the time you cross the finish line.

Same principle for the other races, but shorter (obviously). Less sweating, more tasting. Finally, the marathon village closes your taste discoveries with music (if you still have room). After an event like this, returning to real life will be complicated!
