Marathon Vert Rennes School of Business

At the Rennes Green Marathon, we're not here to string beads, but to plant trees. The event's motto: "1 km traveled = 1 tree planted". Don't worry, a bag of potting soil is not part of the mandatory equipment. Focus on your strides, the organizers will take care of the rest!

What you will find on site:

• A race committed to the planet;

• A marathon, yes, but also two night races!

• Student and corporate challenges to suffer with friends or colleagues;

• To support you, pacemakers in each pen and refreshments on the course.

Course focus:

On the marathon side, the organizers have reserved an FFA-approved race for you with a particularly rolling urban course. After starting on the Mail François Mitterrand, you will zigzag through the streets of Rennes and follow the Vilaine before reaching the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle for a cracking finish.

This race can be run alone, in pairs or in relays. No reason to be alone and cough up your lungs. Along the way, you will come across many musical events and other surprises: enough to put a smile back on your face during your hypoglycemic attack!

In addition to the marathon, the event offers two night races. A 10 km urban race open to all, and a 5 km 100% women's race. To smash your records in the soft glow of your headlamp (watch out for your ankles on the cobblestones), or enjoy an exceptional excursion by night.

3 (super) reasons to participate:

• Bring your tree to the building that already has +1,300,000 trees planted since its creation!

• The classic sausage pancake from the village's restaurant area;

• The possibility of making your BA by participating in the plogging sessions.
