Quercy trail night

Welcome within the ramparts… with a headlamp!

Get your torch and your cardio ready: the Quercy Trail Night is the event where nature, the fortified town of Le Quesnoy and the trail atmosphere come together, nighttime edition. No neon lights or smooth tarmac here, but a course through the heart of the Vauban fortifications, with mud, cobblestones, roots, and stars filling your eyes.

What you'll find on site:

• A 13 km cross-country race, with a good amount of elevation and timed;
• An 8 km walk, untimed;
• Two mini children's trails: 800 m and 1500 m;
• A canicross start (motivated and well-controlled dogs) just after the runners, to avoid tangled leads;
• Refreshments at the right moment: halfway through and at the finish. Because you can love running at night and still want a snack at the end.

Course focus:

Imagine a 13 km loop carved through the heart of a fortified town, between moats, bastions, cobblestones and small forest paths. It climbs, it slips, it surges: perfect for warming up the thighs and awakening the senses. You'll be scrambling through a history-laden setting, lit only by your headlamp and the stars — if the weather's good, otherwise it's the fog that joins the party. One rule only: hang on… and enjoy it. The route is as playful as it is demanding, with that little extra soul that night racing brings.

3 (very) good reasons to take part:

• Running at night through listed fortifications is something else entirely compared to going round and round in a park;
• Because a November trail run forges mental strength (and thick skin);
• Leaving with a head full of memories… and a great excuse to drink a hot chocolate in full warrior mode after the effort.
