The Semi-marathon de Phalempin is the kind of event that everyone can agree on. Chrono hunters come for its course designed for performance. Others come for the atmosphere, friends, and brass bands that set the rhythm for every kilometre. Either way, it's hard to leave disappointed.

What you'll find on site:

  • A half-marathon with the FFA National label, ideal for aiming for a qualification to the French Championships or simply giving your best;
  • An ultra-flat course where legs can finally open up without negotiating a single hill;
  • Nearly 4,000 participants gathered to share a great running celebration between enthusiasts, friends and colleagues.

Course focus:

Here, no traps or surprises on the agenda. You run on a 100% asphalt course that alternates between forest roads and countryside, with an elevation gain that's almost non-existent. The kilometres flow, the pace settles in and everyone writes their own race: personal record, qualification or simply the pleasure of going the distance.

And when the legs start arguing with the head, the aid stations are there to restore some order before heading towards the finish line.

Taking part in the Semi-marathon de Phalempin also means toeing the start line of an event that has been part of the landscape since 1985. First known for its 10 km, the event has welcomed its half-marathon since 1992. In other words, a classic from the Nord region that has seen generations of runners pass through and continues to write its story with every edition.

3 (very) good reasons to take part:

  • Take advantage of an ultra-flat course to chase your best time or a qualification to the French Championships;
  • Run to the sound of brass bands and share a true sporting moment with nearly 4,000 participants;
  • Add to your racing record an event that has become unmissable in the history of running in northern France.
