Sherpa trail

Registration opens: Friday, December 22, 2023.

Registration closes: 2024 edition canceled.

Come and participate in the Sherpa Trail, which will be held in the town of La Thuile (73). The organizers offer you a 25 km course and a 10 km course, as well as hikes of 6 and 12 km.

By participating, you will help support the "Arbre à Mel" project, which promotes the education of 200 Nepalese students from Samchet, affected by the 2015 earthquake in the Manaslu Valley.

Focus on the courses:

• Trail 25 km
• Trail 10 km

Departures and arrivals: Salle des fêtes, route de Morion 73190 La Thuile.

Full refreshment at km 5 on the 10 km trail and at km 13, 17 and 18 on the 25 km trail. There will also be full refreshment at the start and finish of these two trails.

Make sure you are equipped with suitable clothing depending on the weather conditions, a backpack suitable for the trail or equivalent, such as a bottle holder. Don't forget to bring a water supply, a personal cup (given the absence of plastic cups at the refreshment points), a pair of shoes designed specifically for trail running, as well as a food supply.

The use of poles is authorized.
