Sherpa trail

Registration opens: Friday, December 22, 2023.

Registrations close: 2024 edition cancelled.

Come and take part in the Sherpa Trail, which will be held in the town of La Thuile (73). The organizers are offering you a 25 km route and a 10 km route, as well as 6 and 12 km hikes.

By participating, you will help support the “Mel Tree” project which promotes the education of 200 Nepalese students from Samchet, affected by the 2015 earthquake in the Manaslu Valley.

Focus on the courses:

• Trail 25 km
• Trail 10 km

Departures and arrivals: Village hall, route de Morion 73190 La Thuile .

Full refreshment at km 5 on the 10 km trail and at km 13, 17 and 18 on the 25 km trail. There will also be full refreshment at the start and finish of these two trails.

Make sure you are equipped with suitable clothing depending on the weather conditions, a backpack suitable for trail running or equivalent, such as a bottle holder. Don't forget to bring a water reserve, a personal cup (given the absence of plastic cups at the refreshment points), a pair of shoes designed specifically for trail running, as well as a food reserve.

The use of poles is permitted.
