Trail des forts de Besançon

On the program: a journey through time, heading towards the past of the city of Besançon and its forts listed as UNESCO heritage sites.

What you will find there

• A great atmosphere with a concert on Saturday evening, entertainment, and a festive village where you will find plenty of advice… and energy.

Focus on the courses:

Whether you're here for the thrill or a first experience, the Trail des Forts has what you need! The flagship 62 km and 2,350 m D course takes you from urban peaks to wooded hills and past historic forts. Fancy a softer format? Choose from the other distances, from 11 to 42 km, which will also have you walking the ramparts of the Citadel and enjoying an unparalleled viewpoint.

To all the kids in the assembly: no jealousy, you also have something to run with.

Bonus challenge: the strong ones can measure themselves against the special triptych (22 km 5 km CLM 11 km). A quest on another level for those who want more!

3 (very) good reasons to participate

• Pretend you're a brave knight on his way to save the damsels, minus the chainmail;

• Do trail running without going to the mountains (but not without elevation);

• Run in a village with UNESCO-listed monuments.
