Trail des tranchées

Where History has fought, you run. From the trenches to the finish line, come and wage your own (peaceful) war with kilometers.

What you will find there:

• 4 major trails: the 14 km Baïonnette; the 18 km Tranchée; the 32 km Poilu - labeled FFA Silver; the 55 km Vaillant, UTMB Index 50K (we are talking to the strong ones here).

• Add a Nordic walking and a few children's races;

• An arrival in the center of Verdun under a hedge of Bayonets. Are they real? Come and check!

Course focus:

The Trail des tremblants starts from the Douaumont Ossuary, a place full of memories where the souls of thousands of soldiers rest. State forests, bunkers, forts, trenches still visible: every meter is a lesson in life and cardio. Expect climbs that will make you regret last night's dessert and descents to stretch your legs and let yourself be carried away. A unique physical and memorial adventure, with the added bonus of arriving in town where the crowd cheers you like a hero.

4 (very) good reasons to participate:

• Honor the memory of soldiers, with historical routes;

• Discover a listed natural heritage site that is exceptionally open for the event;

• For the adrenaline of a serious trail: FFA label, UTMB Index and a tight, almost military organization;

• You're not in History class, here you're the one running through History, where each stride writes your story on pages of memory. (yes we think we're Nekfeu, what's the matter?)
