Here, no asphalt, but kilometers of rocky ridges, moors as far as the eye can see and weather that can remind you how alive you are. Only one rule: maintain your Breton spirit on a terrain that will never let you breathe. But rest assured, this challenge is also an immersion in a grandiose setting, where each stride is a story to tell.
What you will find on site:
• Formats for all appetites: discovery, short and long!
• A friendly atmosphere: from start to finish, the solidarity between trail runners is as strong as the granite of the Monts d'Arrée.
• 4 refreshment zones on the 65 km course, 3 refreshment zones on the 40 km and 1 refreshment zone on the 20 km. Outside of these zones, refreshments are only permitted within a radius of 100 meters before and after, clearly marked by opening and closing signs.
• A 100% authentic atmosphere: friendly volunteers and close-knit trail runners, because that's what Brittany is all about.
Course focus:
It starts gently... or not! From the first few kilometers, the Monts d'Arrée roll out a carpet (of stones) that will test you right away. Head for Roc'h Trévézel, the highest point in the region, where you'll team up with the wind to move forward. Downhill? Yes, but to better climb back up towards the ridges. And then, there's the legendary crossing of the peat bogs, because running in the dry is too easy. Your best ally: your ankles. Spoiler: they'll be put to the test. 🏞️
And this view... Breathtaking, in every sense of the word. Golden moorland, dense forests, and, in the distance, the ocean. In short, a condensed version of Brittany in the heart of nature.
Why you MUST be there:
• The thrill of real trail running: no bling-bling, just pure nature challenges and terrain that shapes you.
• A unique playground: ridges, peat bogs, valleys… a diversity of landscapes that makes you forget the kilometers.
• An atmosphere that smells of Brittany: warm volunteers, a close-knit community of runners, and a salty air to boot.
• An unforgettable memory: whether you’re team “I’m drooling but I’m smiling” or team “I’m finishing for the fun of it”, you’ll leave with an unforgettable experience.
Check this date, prepare your camelbak, and above all, don’t delay in registering. In the meantime, we'll let you visualize your triumphant arrival with the encouragement of the Bretons... and a well-deserved glass of cider.
