VVX - Volvic Volcanic Expérience

Organized in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, the Volvic Volcanic Experience (or VVX for short) offers a packed program combining trail running, activities and discovery of the region. We'll help you sort it all out!

What you'll find on site:

• 7 races from 15 to 224 km, a children's race and a trek;

• As much elevation as you want;

• Visits, sports initiations and lots of things to eat and drink.

Course focus:

The VVX oscillates between sport, gastronomy and tourism. But let's start at the beginning: the trail! With its 7 races in total, there's something for everyone. From the trail découverte to the most merciless ultra (224 km all the same…), it's up to you to choose how you want to get into the saucepan. The playground is worth the effort since you will be running in the heart of the magnificent Puys chain: Puy de Dôme, Puy de la Coquille, Puy des Gouttes and Plateau des Dômes, expect magnificent sunrises in a postcard setting.

But that's not all! In addition to the races, a lot of fun is on offer. After a memorable opening night, you can let yourself be guided on a tour of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park, visit a sculptor's workshop, try your hand at orienteering or archery, or enjoy the many musical events... As you will have understood, the adventure doesn't stop once you cross the finish line!
