What you’ll find there:

• A hike of less than 10 km, two trails of 10 km and 17 km;
• A place steeped in history. Yes, you’ll be running around a monument listed as a historic monument in 1990;
• A bit of elevation gain to warm up your calves.

Think you know Savoie? Wait until you see what the Barr’O Trail has in store for you. Departure from Fort Barraux, citadel atmosphere and calves already on alert. Then, it's off for a wild ride through wooded trails, charming hamlets and unobstructed views of the mountains - enough to keep your eyes occupied while your thighs burn. The climbs sting just enough, the descents wake you up, and in between, it's total bliss. It's not just a race, it's a cardio-rustic journey between heritage, nature and good sweat. Fort Barraux is one of the oldest bastioned forts in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes still in its original state. Stylish. What are you waiting for to try it?
