Practical information

IMPORTANT: A medical certificate is not required to participate; all you need is a PPS, which you can create here: https://pps.athle.fr/

The Beaujo Run’in Rock is back for its first edition and invites you to rack up the miles to the rhythm of frenzied riffs. Here, sweat mixes with decibels, sneakers meet leather jackets, and mud becomes your best friend. A festive, wild, and costume-themed race with a rock/metal theme, born from an explosive marriage between the Beaujo’Fest and the love of running.

What you’ll find on site:

  • A 6.66 km adult race (the famous Number of the Beast) and three children’s races (Ozzy, Lemmy, and Chester, depending on age);

  • Locker rooms, showers, and toilets accessible upon presentation of your race number, plus a snack to recharge your batteries;

  • A group warm-up and access to the Beaujolais village with entertainment and festive stalls;

  • A refreshment stop like no other: at the 4th kilometer, a beer stop before the final refreshment stop. Cheers! 🍻

Course Focus:

The Number of the Beast covers its 6.66 km between roads and dirt tracks, with an almost moderate elevation gain (<50 D+). But make no mistake: November in Beaujolais rhymes with mud. The result? A rolling race, but spiced up like a good overdriven guitar riff. For the kids, head to Montchervet Park with three formats calibrated for ages 4-15, a chance to plant the seeds of rock 'n' run from an early age.

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

  • Show up at the starting line in corpse paint, studded clothing, fishnet, or leopard print, and maybe walk away with a prize for the best costume (man, woman, girl, boy);

  • Enjoy a unique experience where running is at the heart of Beaujo'Fest and its electric atmosphere;

  • Run for fun... and for the beer (refreshments and finale). It's scientific: hops replace electrolytes.
