The BXL TOUR is Brussels like you've (almost) never seen it: liberated avenues, tunnels open to bikes and thousands of cyclists riding together in the heart of the capital. For its 10th edition, the event meets on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Place des Palais for a collective start towards the Atomium.

Semi-pro chasing the podium, seasoned cyclist ready to unleash the watts, amateur here to enjoy the closed roads or e-bike enthusiast: here, everyone finds their place in the peloton.

What you'll find on site:

  • A route of 40 km (or 32 km in Ride category) entirely closed to traffic through 8 municipalities of the Brussels Region;
  • An iconic start at Place des Palais and a finish at the foot of the Atomium, with a festive village open to supporters;
  • Practical services to ride with peace of mind: water fountains, technical stands for small repairs, toilets and mobile lockers to collect your belongings at the finish.

Route focus:

Cycling in Brussels without cars around you changes everything.

The BXL TOUR route takes you through several emblematic places of the capital. On the road: the Brussels tunnels, the Bois de la Cambre, a passage in front of the Château Royal de Laeken, not to mention those long urban avenues that make you want to lengthen your stride... sorry, your pedal stroke.

The 40 km route chains together fast descents, demanding climbs and false flats, to keep your legs well awake from start to finish. And just before closing the loop, a final sprint in front of the Château Royal de Laeken spices up the end of the race. Save some juice, you might need it.

For those who prefer to ride at their own pace, the Ride category offers a 32 km route, accessible and without ranking. The idea remains the same: enjoy a unique morning cycling in Brussels.

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

  • Ride in the Brussels tunnels surrounded by thousands of cyclists: a sensation as rare as it is addictive;
  • Cross 8 municipalities of the capital on a route totally closed to traffic;
  • Cross the finish line at the foot of the Atomium before enjoying the village atmosphere with friends, family and other cycling enthusiasts.

The BXL TOUR is a morning when Brussels changes its rhythm. Cars disappear, bikes take the city and the streets become a huge playground for cyclists.

So, ready to join the peloton? 🚴‍♂️
