An autumn Sunday just the way we like them: a bit of a slope, plenty of mud, and above all, heart. Welcome to Gillonnay, in Isère, for a well-spiced edition of the Fête des Marrons. Two formats, two atmospheres, one shared goal: to enjoy yourself running among castles, chapels, and local warmth.
What you'll find on-site:
Course focus:
The Cross des Marrons is short, but feisty. Ideal for fans of rhythm and surges, it'll push you into the red faster than a roasted chestnut at aperitif time. The perfect opportunity to test your MAS between the Isère countryside and a local village fête atmosphere.
The Trail des Châteaux & Chapelles, on the other hand, immerses you in scenery that is anything but rustic in its charm. Between wooded paths, high points, and monuments dotting the route, you'll have plenty to feast your eyes on. No poles needed here: your legs and willpower will be enough to guide you to the finish arch.
3 good reasons to take part:
Are you coming? The atmosphere promises to be as warm as the soup at the finish line stand.
