Les Foulées vertes de Mérignies

Aaaahh the countryside. The fresh air. The expanses of countryside. The small towns with character. The wild runners (and those on Sundays). The gatherings where people sweat and laugh. Have we set the scene? Welcome to the Foulées vertes de Mérignies!

What you'll find on site:

• Two starting distances: 5 km and 10 km;

• A refreshment point halfway through the 10km and at the finish for everyone;

• A race that lives up to the reputation of the North: a charming landscape and equally charming inhabitants;

• Showers, changing rooms, lockers, refreshments and even a village that is just waiting for you at the finish. Okay, and the other runners, but you get the idea.

Course focus:

The main character here, after you, is Mérignies. With a ratio of 90% asphalt and 10% greenways, these Foulées take you through the city's alleys for your greatest pleasure. The paths are cleared especially for the occasion, enough to run until your legs are gone and enjoy the moment to let off steam - without forgetting to admire the typical architecture of the region.

Feeling a bit down? Count on the locals to give you a boost all the way to the finish line!

Last highlight: the organizers are doing everything they can to make the event as eco-friendly as possible. And we say yes to that!
