Ready to put on the trifunction?
It's time to bring out the (very) big guns. Welcome to Gandia, on the Valencian coast, for the ICAN Triathlon: this Spanish event smells of salt, effort… and pure satisfaction.
What you'll find on site:
- On the swimming side, a secure course in the port of Gandia. One or two laps to complete, depending on your format, in a Mediterranean Sea that's waiting just for you.
- On the bike, courses calibrated to rack up the kilometers with precision: up to 182.8 km for the most daring. Smooth transition in the Avenida La Paz car park, sun and warm tarmac vibes.
- On foot, you digest your cycling leg with a marathon, a half or a shorter format. It heats up under the running shoes.
- Solid and liquid aid stations in the right places, special bags to collect… never. Yes, here, you travel light and focused.
- A nice combo of rewards: finisher medal, vintage t-shirt, backpack, and your well-deserved recovery pack at the finish line.
Course focus:
Everything starts and finishes at the Playa de Gandia. That's where you dive in, switch disciplines, and push yourself to the line. On the swimming side, you loop around the port anti-clockwise, in floating exit mode. No waves, no excuses. Then, head off for the cycling kilometers: watch out for the marked zones, there are technical turns and playful tarmac. Finally, the run is to be savored (or endured) with several laps and numbered aid stations to keep the pace.
In the Full, it's the regional long-distance championship. In the Half, you race over 1.9 / 81.8 / 21.25 km — packed and committed. Prefer to skip the run? The Aquabike formats (MD and LD) are made for you. And if you want a taste without burning out, the short format (1.5 / 41.3 / 7.25 km) does the job. Note, limited spots available for this last one.

- Doing a triathlon in Spain means ticking the box for sun + effort + Mediterranean vibes.
- It's a real regional championship: here, you come to perform.
- Finishing the ICAN is etched in your legs. And in your head, long after the finish line is crossed.
