Since 2004, Ironcat has established itself as the benchmark event for triathletes seeking to combine performance and unspoiled nature, in the unique setting of L'Ampolla, Spain. Nestled in the Catalan region, this unmissable event immerses you in the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park, between the Mediterranean Sea and protected wetlands.

What you'll find there:

• Two formats suitable for all levels: Full (3.8 km swim / 180 km bike / 42.2 km run) and Half (1.9 km swim / 90 km bike / 21.1 km run), with the Half introduced in 2024 to broaden the experience;

• A spectacular natural setting, among rice paddies, lagoons, and Mediterranean beaches, just a few hours from Barcelona;

• A rectangular swim in the natural harbor of Fangar, starting and finishing at the Club Nàutic de l'Ampolla;

• A fast, flat, 30km looped cycling circuit through the typical landscapes of the Ebro Delta;

• A looped run on a paved track, which will put your cycling skills to the test over 7 laps (Full) or 4 laps (Half).

Course Focus:

The calm waters of the Fangar harbor kick off the race, before you hit the bike on a steady loop, perfect for developing your power and maintaining your pace. The final stage, a looped run on smooth roads, will challenge you to the sometimes playful winds of the Delta, in an exceptional natural setting.
