The 555 is a format that throws you straight into the deep end. A 5 km, then another, then a final. No safety net, no lengthy calculations: you run to move forward, or you watch the rest from the sidelines. Simple on paper, demanding on the legs.

What you'll find on the day:

  • An individual qualifying running race, unique in the region, with two 5 km rounds to earn your spot in the final;
  • A precisely timed format:
    • 10 groups of 20 runners in the first round (starts from 9am, every 5 minutes),
    • then 5 men's groups and 5 women's groups in the second round (starts from 10am, every 10 minutes),
    • before the 5 km final at 11:30am, chip-timed;
  • Rewards that make you want to sprint to the line: prize vouchers for the men's and women's scratch, hampers for the top finishers in each category from Minimes to Masters;
  • A tombola exclusively for runners with €1,500 in prizes (Garmin watches, mountain bike, TV…) and race numbers that could be worth a great deal;
  • A jersey and a beer given to every participant, because the effort deserves more than a pat on the back;
  • Refreshments on site and a race atmosphere that runs from the first start to the final.

Course focus:

5 km. Three times.

Every round counts, every place is decided in the standings. To get through the first filter, you need to finish in the top 15 men or top 15 women in your group. Same again in the second round, with only 18 qualifiers per group making it through to the final. In the event of a tie, no pointless debate: everyone goes through.

The 555 is a precise machine: you manage your effort, you read the race, you make decisions. No need to overcomplicate it: the format speaks for itself and commands respect.

3 (very) good reasons to take part:

  • Test a radically different race concept, where every kilometre can push you further… or stop you in your tracks;
  • Compete in a true qualifying format, with no illusions and no second chances;
  • Leave with more than a finish time: an experience, a jersey, maybe a tombola prize… and the feeling of having played the game all the way to the end.
