Ready to run in the footsteps of Francis I, to slalom between gardens worthy of a fairy tale, and to finish with the grace of a knight after battle? François I and Napoleon didn’t have Strava, but you can write your own chapter… with great strides!
What you’ll find there:
• 3 royal distances from the 5 km to the semi-marathon (FFA-certified and supporting the Seine-et-Marne Championship, please);
• Children’s races for little squires;
• Refreshments to recharge your royal palace at each distance, and a relaxed atmosphere: no airlock, no pace setter, just you and your inner strength.
Course focus:
Hear ye, hear ye, make way for His Majesty! Welcome to your kingdom, where your steps will take you between the city, the park and the enchanting gardens of the Château de Fontainebleau. It’s more than a playground, it’s a living tableau: paths lined with sculptures, sandy paths, and this Renaissance château that stares at you as if to say “So, when are you coming back?”. No stress: everything is calibrated to the millimeter, from the flowerbeds to the beauty of the courses. And as a bonus, a dive into history without too much elevation: even the hills lean to let you reign.
4 great reasons to participate:
• Run in a unique imperial setting listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site;
• Feel like a king without emptying the kingdom's coffers;
• Come and mix sport, tourism and elegance in a Bridgerton Chronicle atmosphere, more or less!
• The 10 km is FFA-certified, qualifying for the French championships just as the half-marathon is for the Seine-et-Marne Championship.
