The very essence of authentic trail running: climbs, fields and a warm atmosphere in the heart of the Flanders mountains. Here, we run for fun and sharing.
What you will find on site
• Two trail courses: a 9 km (170 m D+) and a 21 km (440 m D+) for the most daring; a hiking trail for a quality stroll and a children's race;
• Little extras that make all the difference: a free and supervised changing room, showers and even a daycare center to keep your little ones busy while you run;
• Refreshment-wise, it’s minimalist and efficient: a well-deserved stop halfway through the 21 km, just when you start dreaming of a sip of water or a little boost.
Course focus:
If you’re not yet familiar with the Flanders mountains, get ready for a discovery that will blow your mind. On the 9 km, you stay in French territory, winding through fields and on paths around the charming village of Saint-Jans-Cappel. But on the 21 km, it’s an international adventure: a foray into Belgium to run between Mont Rouge and Mont Noir, two jewels of this unique region.
Fields, climbs (just enough to challenge you) and an atmosphere that exudes simplicity and authenticity. Here, no rhinestones or glitter, just the raw beauty of Flanders and the passion of a local organization that gives its all.
3 undeniable reasons to participate:
• A picture-postcard setting: running in Flanders on a Sunday in October, between fields and mountains, is the guarantee of a breath of fresh air and a desire to come back!
• The warmth of a small organization: a family and passionate race, far from the big circuses, but close to the essential;
• A human-scale adventure: with only 900 bibs on the 21 km and 550 on the 9 km, you won't be jostling for position, but you will experience a special moment.
