It's not a wild boar's grunt... it's the call of the asphalt and the trails in Richebourg. And good news: La Tête de Sanglier is back for its second edition! Well-laced sneakers, warmed-up legs, and full motivation: we're waiting for you (and a little muddy, let's not lie).
What you'll find there:
• A 5 km and a 10 km for those who like it a bit stinging, a walk to enjoy the atmosphere without sprinting, and children's races for mini-trailers with unlimited energy.
• A friendly atmosphere guaranteed at the start (and finish) line.
• Entertainment, inflatable games, refreshments, and snacks.
But why the name "La Tête de Sanglier"?
Spoiler: no connection with an animal encountered in the woods.
This name refers to a page of our History. In June 1916, Richebourg was the scene of a battle during the First World War. Since then, every last weekend in June, the village pays tribute to these events, with the presence of English delegations and numerous activities.
So yes, we run, we have fun, we sweat...
But we don't forget. Running here also means remembering.
3 (very) good reasons to participate:
• It's only the second edition... it's time to make history,
• The perfect opportunity to combine sport, memory and good humor,
• You can aim for the podium... or just the thrill of crossing the finish line with a smile (and a good little refreshment).
