La tricolore by Binche

There's no pro peloton here, not yet... But a great cycle ride to ride in the wheel of the champions. One week before Remco, Wout, Lotte and the others make the cobblestones of Binche roar, it's up to you to lead the way. One watchword: enjoy yourself, on a route that has all the makings of a classic.

Friendly atmosphere, flat-out segments and beer at the finish. Yes, we are in Belgium.

 

What you will find there:

• 3 distances, 3 atmospheres: 45 km to get your legs going, 85 km to feel your thighs burning, 130 km for those hungry for miles.

• A 100% Binchoise atmosphere: local clubs, attentive volunteers, and the Mask Museum as a starting point... everything is there to get you cycling with a smile.

• A life-size test route: it's literally that of the 2025 Belgian Championship. Do you want to know what Remco will experience in a week? Come and taste the asphalt.

• Well-placed refreshment points, well-marked signs, mechanical assistance for any problems (and cables that snap without warning).

• And a touch of competition to spice up the ride: 3 timed Strava segments, just to see if you have the pedaling skills of a future champion. Rewards up for grabs!

 

Course focus:

Binche doesn't mess around with cycling. Flat, false flats, teasing bumps and a few well-aimed revivals, all on roads that you will soon share with the cream of Belgian cycling.

It's up to you to choose your pace: ride with friends, club outing, or mission "I'll get lost on the segments and recover at the refreshment station".

Between cobbled villages, fields as far as the eye can see and local party atmosphere, each pedal stroke smells of Belgium riding, sweating and living for cycling.

 

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

• You'll be on the same route as the pros but a week before them.

• It's THE cyclo not to be missed in Binche this year.

• For the beer to enjoy at the finish!
