No, not the astrological sign. Nor a race after this big feline. Behind this enigmatic name hides a race with a very very rolling profile between Belfort and Montbéliard. So put on your best speed shoes, it's going to be amazing!
What you'll find there:
• A half-marathon, a 10 km and a 5 km ("La Féline", timed or not timed) and marche. Everyone is happy!
• Shuttles, refreshments and pacemakers that are all good;
• The solid organization of a race that has been organized since 1984.
Course focus:
Half-marathon, 10 or 5 km? No matter the format chosen, the Lion is run at full speed. Choose your starting pen carefully, or you risk getting trampled by the 5,000 or so runners determined to compete for the Strava segments. Whatever your start, head to Montbéliard for the finish and a well-deserved recovery.
Want to play it cool and prefer to walk? No problem. The event offers you three Nordic walking courses to enjoy the scenery while records rain down on the race side. A cultural walk also allows you to discover the emblematic personalities of Montbéliard along a course led by tour guides. Enough to make you go to bed feeling less stupid once you get home!
