Le Trail des Cerfs

Ready to leap from tree to tree like a hyperactive young fawn? Here we go for the 1st edition of the Trail des Cerfs!

What you'll find there:

• A life-size playground: If you don't come across a deer, at least you'll get a good breath of fresh air;

• Entertainment for young and old on the square in front of the Basilica, music, smiles and surely a few fries lying around somewhere (we are in Belgium after all);

• Changing rooms, showers, toilets, lockers: the comfort of the Saint-Hubert Sports Center awaits you to finish all clean after your epic crossing.

Course Focus:

Boom, off you go on the square in front of the Basilica, under the eyes of onlookers still digesting their coffee.

Two hundred meters of asphalt, and hop, you Dive straight into the trails. No more noise, just you, your breath, and the forest opening up in front of you.

On the menu? Soft moss underfoot, single tracks winding between the fir trees, small climbs that sting your thighs (hello cardio), descents to let go of the brakes, and a few straight lines to get going again if you still have legs.

Have you chosen 15, 25, or 35 kilometers? It doesn't matter: you'll hit wild corners, come across a few refreshment stops to send you a cup and a smile, and maybe even surprise a deer hidden in the bushes.

In the last few kilometers, you hear the Basilica calling you. You come out of the forest, the cobblestones are warming your calves, final sprint: arms raised, finish line, you're alive!
