Run for a purpose, run with purpose, run beautifully: Les Capitelles Solidaires gives meaning to every stride. Head to Laure-Minervois, in the heart of the Languedoc countryside, for a trail run where sport meets solidarity. You come to sweat, you leave with something extra.

What you'll find there:

• Three formats to suit all tastes: a 3.6 km trail run around the lake, a 10 km or 18 km trail run, and a 10 km hike;

• A playground that's 99% nature (yes, we counted), between vineyards, scrubland, and dry-stone huts;

• A charity event whose proceeds support the education and improvement of teaching conditions for children in Africa, in partnership with the association Au Fil Du Désert.

Course Focus:

Here, no frills are needed. The scenery speaks for itself. The race starts at Lake Laure-Minervois, before quickly branching off onto the hiking trails of Les Capitelles. Vineyards as far as the eye can see, fragrant garrigue, winding paths: the Minervois region reveals itself unfiltered.

For the trail running format, the concept is simple and remarkably effective: at the 9km mark, you choose. Either you cut across and finish your 10km by the lake, or you pick up the pace again for a second loop and a total of 18km. Stop… or continue. Well-placed aid stations, a reasonable (but present) elevation gain, and that exhilarating feeling of running in a landscape that breathes the South.
