These Pyramids are not to be climbed. The Pyramids race is a charity adventure for the benefit of the association Courir pour un enfant that lets you discover La Grande-Motte from its atypical architectural angle.
What you will find on site:
• A half-marathon, a 10 km, a 5 km and two children's races;
• Buildings in the shape of pyramid like you've never seen before (unless you live in La Grande-Motte, of course);
• A group warm-up, instructions, refreshments to get you going and musical entertainment.
Course focus:
Here, we immerse ourselves in the Mediterranean atmosphere of La Grande-Motte, a town classified as "20th Century Heritage". The 5 and 10 km will have you winding around the famous pyramid buildings (hence the name of the event), emblems of the town. On the half-marathon, you will extend the experience to the sea, where the salty breath of the Mediterranean will be your ally... or your challenge, if Aeolus heats up. With more than 5,000 participants each year, a great atmosphere is guaranteed. And after crossing the finish line, the Camargue awaits you with its wild and peaceful setting, as well as its anchoïade to share, its Camargue rice to recharge your carbohydrates, and why not a glass of Sable de Camargue wine to celebrate your great performance.
3 (very) good reasons to participate:
• Support children in difficulty;
• Run with your crew: company challenge or club challenge, gather your most motivated colleagues to smoke, all together 😌;
• Enjoy an exceptional setting, the smell of pine trees, the sparkling sea… in short, you get the picture. Long live Occitanie.
