Marathon de Vannes

Between magnificent coastal landscapes and an atmosphere worthy of the best fest-noz, Breton races are truly unique events. The Vannes Marathon is no exception to the rule.

What you will find there:

• A 5 km, a 10 km, a 20 km, a marathon and a night race;

• An officially elected festive and friendly event (yes, yes);

• Starting pens, pacemakers, changing rooms and showers;

• Bagpipes, oysters and salted butter caramel.

Focus on the course:

Watch out, the Vannes Marathon courses (5 km, 10 km, 20 km or marathon, your choice) run along the paths of one of the “most beautiful bays in the world”, aka the Gulf of Morbihan. Between the splendid coastal paths with views of the small islands of the Gulf, the picturesque city center of Vannes, and the salty air in your nostrils, you will not regret the stay.

This event is a member of “Festiviales”, an association that brings together the most festive races in France. Basically, you officially go on a “half-race / half-party” that has more than 50 entertainment points with tastings of vintages and regional products on the program.

And to top it all off, the organization has been committed to protecting the coastline since 2013 to limit the impact of human activity on the natural areas it crosses. We love our nature!
