Ah, the Basque coast. Casinos, surfing, swimming… and the famous Biarritz International Marathon. This spicy race brings together more than 10,000 runners every year, you’ll quickly understand why!
What you will find there:
• A 12 km, a half, a marathon and a relay marathon;
• A little D , all the same;
• An exhibitors’ village to leave well equipped;
• A locker, plenty of refreshments, toilets and all the necessary comforts on site.
Focus on the course:
The goal of the Biarritz – Pays Basque International Marathon is simple: to offer demanding events in a picture-postcard setting. Whatever your preferred distance, the start is from the famous Aguilèra stadium. Then head to the coast to admire its magnificent villas, casinos and the emblematic Biarritz lighthouse. On the beach side, you will skirt the spots that have made the Basque coast popular with surfers from all over the world: the Grande Plage, the Miramar, the Marbella and the Cité de l’Océan. Just a hair’s breadth away from turning the race into a swim-run…
On the organization side, everything is done to get you into the swing of things, and 800 attentive volunteers will guarantee you a great time. So, see you there?
