Marbella Epic Trail

Welcome to Marbella. Not to sip a cocktail on the promenade, or to sunbathe under a palm tree (you'll do that later).

Here, we're talking about 65 km and 5,000 m of elevation gain in the Sierra Blanca.

A formidable route, uncompromising terrain, a challenge built for those who know what it means to push past their limits — and who are used to doing it.

What you'll find on site:

• A pre-dawn start, at 5am on the Marbella seafront (it stings a little);
• 5,000 m of elevation gain, no less!
• Powerful landscapes, between exposed ridges, suspended trails and Andalusian panoramas that will take your breath away – in case the effort hadn't already done so;
• Premium aid stations at kilometres 13.5 / 20.7 / 29 / 36 / 46 / 54, plus a final boost at the finish;
• A technical welcome kit, a recovery service with physios, showers and changing rooms at the finish — a true post-effort luxury;
• And for finishers, an exclusive medal, a premium gift and a gastronomic fiesta with open bar and gourmet BBQ (veggie option available, obviously).

Course focus:

You start facing the Mediterranean. The silence of the sleeping city, the headlamp light cutting through the darkness. Then very quickly, the steep slopes of the Sierra Blanca await you, without detour. Here, no half-measures: legs burn, footing slips, breath fades… but the scenery is magnificent. Between Puerto de Marbella and Istán, no aid station. You'll be alone with your mental strength and your water management. This section is the ultimate judge.

No improvisation possible: mandatory gear is scrutinised closely (check mats, in-race inspections), the GPS watch must be running, the survival blanket must be in the pack, the headlamp fully charged. You want to play? Come prepared.

3 (very) good reasons to take part:

• 5,000 m of elevation gain over 65 km isn't something you collect like a badge. It's an experience in itself, a rite of passage.
• You don't get to run an ultra every day where every detail has been designed for athlete performance and safety.
• Because at the finish line, it's not just a medal they give you. It's respect. And a BBQ. And an open bar. In short, the reward your effort deserves.
