MTRI Castellón

Looking for triathlon Mediterranean-style? Head to the Valencian coast for a weekend designed for swimming, cycling, running… and doing it all over again.

What you'll find there:

• Three individual formats: Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic;
• A non-competitive Family Duathlon in child + adult pairs, to discover the triple effort in fun mode;
• A complete competition package: race number (unique for the Valencian Community Federation), swim cap, timing chip, triathlete bag, trial t-shirt and finish medal;
• Liquid refreshments during the race, solid and liquid at the finish;
• Baggage storage, mechanical service, photography and post-competition video summary;
• A paella evening (access for companions with €10 ticket). Because recovery is also strategic.

Format focus:

Saturday: Time for the Sprint and Family Duathlon. On one side, controlled intensity. On the other, pure sharing. The duathlon is run in pairs, over short distances designed for initiation and fun. Here, we pass on knowledge as much as we sweat.

Sunday: Open stage for the Super Sprint and Olympic. Two rhythms, one same requirement: chain together without calculating, manage your transitions, stay lucid when it burns.

The MTRI Castellón is also a test stage of the Mediterranean Triathlon 2026 circuit, built around the races in Alicante, Valencia and Castellón, with a parallel ranking for those registered for multiple rounds. If you like episodic challenges, you're in for a treat.

A single race number for the competition. Simple, clear, efficient.
