Sur la Trace des Templiers

Put on your chainmail (or your trail running shoes, which is more practical) and prepare for a journey through time... and through your calves. For its very first edition, Sur la Trace des Templiers invites you to unravel the mysteries of Pierrevillers and its surrounding forests, against the backdrop of a medieval epic.

What you'll find there:

• Two formats to write your legend.

• A 100% natural route through the forests of Pierrevillers, Marange, and Malancourt-la-Montagne.

• A friendly atmosphere, supported by the parents' association. Yes, it's a race... but with heart.

• Solid and liquid refreshments: at km 8 on the 16 km course, and at the finish for everyone. Enough to recharge your batteries and your karma.

Course Focus:

You start from the Templars' courtyard, cross the village, and then head into the woods. This is where the "inner quest" begins: it climbs, it rekindles, it pushes you to search within yourself for the strength to continue... or just the trail markers. The private properties, exceptionally open for the occasion, give you access to unique trails, which will only be revealed to the most valiant among you.

No detours will be made, no trace will lead you back to the right path if you lose your way. In short, like the true Templars, you are on your own.

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

• Take part in a true first edition. One where everything is created, where every climb counts double, where every memory becomes legendary.

• Tread new trails, cross wild forests and properties that are usually off-limits. On this day, the gates are opened for you.

• Running for a good cause: 1 euro per bib will be donated to La Pédiatrie Enchantée, an association working for the well-being of hospitalized children.
