Under a very sweet name, the Trail de la bergère has a few surprises in store for you that your legs will remember. That's what it's like to come and ride in Saône-et-Loire! I promise, you'll love it.
What you'll find there:
• A trail format of less than 15 km and a 25 km course, to vary the pleasures;
• Between 400 m and 650 m of D+, just to put a bit of effort into your legs;
• Supporters on the ball to push you to swallow up the kilometers;
• The essential refreshments on the course and at the finish, parking lots and toilets.
Course focus:
So no, you're not going to be roaming the meadows looking for your sheep. But you're still going to have a quality time. A word of advice: warm up your calves well and be strategic in your effort, since the organizers have a final salty stretch in store for you to reach the village of Gourdon. Apart from that, it's pure fun! Trails, dirt roads, fields as far as the eye can see, a few tarmac segments to balance it all out, in short, a course that's not exactly a walk in the park. So, are you coming?
3 (very) good reasons to sign up:
• The UTMB 20K index on the 25K trail. Let's earn the points!
• Get a big dose of nature first thing in the morning;
• Challenge yourself over a distance never before reached. This is the perfect race profile to push your limits.
