Trail des nounours
Well, unsurprisingly, you won't be running into any bears on this trail des Nounours. On the other hand, you'll come across hundreds of charming runners and hikers, brought together for a great charitable cause, with sunshine as a bonus and maybe even a few cicadas singing. So, are you joining the movement?
What you'll find on site:
• 3 trails and a hike from 9 km to 32 km to delight all levels, all with delightful names. No hard feelings ;
• Well-stocked aid stations to keep you going the distance ;
• Routes that change every year: a brand new experience at each edition!
Course focus:
Welcome to Montjoyer and Réauville, charming villages in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. If you weren't already familiar with the region, expect to come back bilingual in French and Provençal, because the trail des Nounours immerses you in the atmosphere and typical architecture of the region. Small houses in light stone, narrow alleyways and characterful churches — you won't be disappointed by the scenery.
On top of that, here, every kilometre counts. Literally: €1 per km completed is donated to the association supported by the organisation. That's motivation to go the extra distance!
3 (super) reasons to take part:
• With a name like that, the question is rather: how can you NOT take part??
• All registration fees are donated to the "Enfants Cancers Santé" association to support research against childhood cancer. In 2024, this commitment resulted in a donation of €5,040 to the association.
• Refreshments and BBQ for everyone planned after the race. For recovery 👀!
