Trail du lac de Paladru

The Trail du Lac de Paladru is: a crystal blue lake, demanding courses in a breathtaking setting (literally) and surprises galore to celebrate this new edition in style!

What you will find on site:

• An 82 km UTMB Qualifier ultra-trail with 3,200 mD+ accompanied by a slew of other distances from 16 km to 55 km including a 17 km semi-Nocturnal;

• Stage races for great adventurers;

• Instructions, three days of 100% village trail, refreshments on some courses and athletes ready to hurtle down the sides of the lake at full speed.

Course focus:

The “Lac Bleu” (as the locals call it) is located 45 km away, near the Massif de la Chartreuse. In a magnificent setting in the heart of the Pre-Alps, get ready to have a great time on the trails! The races start and finish at the Détente et Clapotis campsite, nestled on the edge of the lake. Then, it’s time for roads, forest trails and gravel paths. Along the way, you will come across, among other things, the Chapelle des 3 Croix and its superb view of Mont Blanc, the Pierre de Libre Soleil (a curious block of stone placed there, at an altitude of 804 m), the Croix des Cochettes (a belvedere overlooking the lake and its deep blue waters). Yes, yes, I assure you, these sublime landscapes will quickly make you forget the pain! Or will give you a good reason to continue, in any case.
