Triathlon du Chat

Some practical details not to be missed:

• The Leisure Pass: Before being able to participate, all participants must complete a Leisure Pass. This must be returned when collecting their bib. To save time (and avoid any complaints), we recommend that you complete this document on Miles when you register.

• No bike parking: No bike parking this time. Your bike and equipment must remain in your vehicle. We have provided a reserved and monitored parking lot at the beach in St Jean de Chevelu, but the organizer cannot be held responsible in the event of theft or damage. We therefore advise you to hide your water bottle and energy bars in a discreet corner! 😉

• Signs on the bike routes: No signs this year, so to avoid finding yourself having to make a 50 km detour, download your route onto a GPS and respect the highway code. Freedom is good, but security is better!

No registration on site.

Departures and arrivals: Saint-Jean-de-Chevelu Lake Beach.

COLLECTION BIBS

Bibes can be collected at the beach at Lac de Saint-Jean-de-Chevelu, Sunday, May 26th. :

• from 9:45 to 10:30 for the L format
• from 11:15 to 12:00 for the M format
• from 12:45 to 13:30 for the S format

🧷 Safety pins will be available to attach your bib.

⚠️ ID required to collect your bib or that of a loved one.

There will be no bike park installed. Thus, the transition zone is located at the level of the vehicles parked in a parking lot reserved for the triathlon.

EQUIPMENT

The water temperature is around 16°C, therefore wearing a wetsuit is not mandatory but recommended for the swimming event. Any type of wetsuit is allowed.

Hard-shell helmet required for the cycling event.

Recommended equipment: Goggles, nose clip, neoprene wetsuit.

RESOMETRIES

A full refreshment station will be set up at the exit from the water.

There will be a cycling refreshment station at Bourget du Lac, near the parking lot opposite the Drivet Bateaux sign, at the top of the Col du Chat and at the top of the Relais du Chat.

Finally, for the running race, there will be a refreshment station at the end of each loop near the beach parking lot.

A kitty for the Restos du Coeur will be made available at the buffet.
