When Aurillac becomes the stage for an odyssey. Every year, the Cantal transforms into a full-scale playground for all those who want to take on the mountains. The UTPMA is much more than a race: it's a journey through volcanoes, valleys and villages, a total immersion in the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne.

Course focus:
No pretense here. The UTPMA is real trail running, wild and demanding. From the rue des Carmes in Aurillac to the summit of the Puy Mary, passing through the Lioran or the gorges de la Jordanne, every kilometre tells a story. Panoramic ridges, gruelling climbs, playful descents and varied terrain that will put both your legs and your mind to the test.
The 112 km is the ultimate challenge: a night crossing, seven aid stations, tight time cutoffs and the promise of XXL emotions. The 50 km starting from the Lioran offers a concentrated, intense and equally breathtaking version. And if you prefer to share the experience, the relay or duo options are there to turn the difficulty into a collective experience.
