Vredestein 20 km de Paris

The Vredestein 20 km of Paris is one of the unmissable races in your life as a runner. A true institution in the world of running, with a first edition organized in 1979, a bib to collect for history!

What you will find on site:

• A rolling course, super pleasant with splendid views;

• An unrivaled atmosphere thanks to the wild Miles Republic pacesetters, the supporters and the entertainment on the race;

• Refreshments at the 6th, 10th and 14th kilometers, in addition to a refreshment bag at the finish. Yes yes, the organizers are treating you!

• Lockers, changing rooms and toilets to be able to run in complete freedom. And as a bonus, masseurs and podiatrists await you at the finish of the race. The height of luxury 😏

Course focus:

Hold on tight, the strides come one after the other as quickly as the monuments: the Trocadéro, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bois de Boulogne, Roland Garros, the Maison de la Radio, the Grand Palais, the Tuileries, Pont Royal, the Berges Rive Gauche, all of western Paris is there. The finish line honors the running star that you are, since your last meters will take place at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. We don't roll out a red carpet (to avoid getting your feet tangled), but it's just as good 😏.  

You'll also be amazed by the musical entertainment all along the course. A big boost at every turn. To accompany you, pacemakers will be present at regular intervals. Find your pacemaker and let yourself be carried away!

So yes, we know. Sometimes, big event = big traffic jams. To avoid trampling and to prevent you from hitting your personal record, the start is organized in 23 waves (one every 3 minutes) for maximum fluidity from the beginning to the end of your race.

PS: even the kids have their own event! On the program, 1000m races (for children aged 6 to 9), 2024m (between 10 and 13 years old) and 5000m (from 14 to 16 years old). No timer, just discovery and the pleasure of participating like the adults 🙂. And no one will be jealous, they too will be entitled to their medal, their t-shirt and their refreshment bag.
