S, or sprint, already ups the intensity with 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. Then comes the M triathlon, Olympic format (1.5km / 40km / 10km) which starts to really sting. For the more enduring, L and the mythical 70.3® (or Half Ironman®) chain 1900m swim, 90km bike and 21km run. And at the top, XL, XXL formats and the full Ironman®: 3.8km / 180km / 42.195km.
