What is the connection between Amiens, running and Jules Verne? Come on, we'll take you to discover a sporting and committed event that is the pride of the Little Venice of the North!
What you'll find on site:
• A 10 km and a 5 km to run or walk, as an individual runner OR to wear the colors of your company or school. And show off on Monday because you broke the scores in their name 😏;
• Refreshments, starting pens and pacemakers;
• A super fast tourist route to discover the city while breaking your record.
Course focus:
Meet in the city center of Amiens alongside some 6,000 runners (or walkers) ready to take on the asphalt! Whether you choose the 10 km or the 5 km, Courir la Jules Verne will help you discover the city faster than a little train on steroids. The goal of the race? Highlighting the major heritage sites of Amiens such as the cathedral, the town hall or... the Jules Verne Circus, which gives it its name and which has existed for over a century.
Running the Jules Verne is also a solidarity race, which is committed to helping the most disadvantaged by working with local associations. True to the ecological concerns of the author Jules Verne, the organization is also involved in limiting its environmental impact and maximizing its social impact: carpooling, waste reduction, etc. put your time to work for a good cause!
3 excellent reasons to participate:
• A committed race like we would like to see more of;
• Challenges to challenge your colleagues, family or friends;
• You don't have anything planned that weekend anyway.
