Les Boucles de Gayant in Douai is not just a running event. It's like a family reunion… with more than 3,540 runners (in 2026). And 5 giants.
The race starts at Place du Barlet with a stunning view of the belfry. Head through the cobbled streets of the city centre, passing by the iconic landmarks of the city of Gayants: the Notre Dame church, the Saint Pierre collegiate church, the Palais de Justice, not to mention a stretch along the Scarpe river. With an overall fast and flat course, your only concern will be to enjoy yourself - and why not try to sneak in a record 😏.
As for the atmosphere, there's no doubt about it, we're in the North. Between the supporters cheering at the top of their lungs and the musicians keeping pace with your stride, there's no way you'll falter. Whether you're there to smash your personal best or simply have a great time, one thing is certain: you won't regret making the trip.
