Semi-Marathon de Jurbise

Ready to test your legs on the Walloon trails (haha…) of Jurbise? The town welcomes you with open arms to share a morning rich in emotions, bucolic landscapes, and above all, markers.

What you'll find there:

• A half-marathon, a 5 km race, a 10 km and a kids' race;

• A good group of supporters to warm you up from start to finish;

• Clear streets just for you, historical monuments at every turn and roads of countryside to vary the pleasures.

Course focus:

At the Jurbise Half Marathon, there are no killer hills or leg-breaking descents: just an ultra-rolling course, and we love that.

The start and finish of the races take place in the Jurbise Municipal Park, in an electric atmosphere and encouragement from all sides. As for the landscape, the city has some nice surprises in store for you. Before your astonished eyes, you will come across: the Moustier Castle, the Egmont Castle, chapels and traditional farms, not to mention the Royal Golf Club of Hainaut, one of the oldest golf courses in Belgium. Yeah, that's a lot of things to see. Not even time to feel the 5, 10 or 21 kilometers go by!

3 (very) good reasons to participate:

• A fast and flat route, perfect for performance or for taking it easy and stretching your legs;

• Scout out the area before returning for the beer festival;

• Show off. Finishing a half-marathon isn't something everyone can do!
